A Palm Beach County sheriff’s lieutenant is suing her boss, claiming she has been denied promotions because she reported hospital overtime abuses that cost taxpayers nearly $400,000 and led to the arrests of seven corrections officers and discipline against some of the agency’s top brass.
In a lawsuit filed against Sheriff Ric Bradshaw this month, Lt. Patricia Brown is seeking thousands of dollars in lost wages and for pain and suffering. She claims she is being punished for pushing for the two-year investigation that in 2008 led to disciplinary action against her supervisors Majors Chris Kneisley and Tammy Waldrop. The majors make recommendations to Bradshaw about promotions.
Agency officials said they hadn’t received a copy of the suit filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court.

You thought by moving those 7 people out the way would pave the way for you to make captain...awwww 4 years later and still no promotion, perhaps you should try working for a promotion instead of screwing people over to get it. You should have never been promoted to a lieutenant, but you were good at recruiting gays so they gave that promotion to you...earn the next one beast!

I have been watching the post on here about Lt.Brown and kept thinking I don't have to say anything because the person she is and her accomplishments speak for themselves.
Which still stands true but as the post keep getting more and more ignorant,I can't help myself.It was mentioned that 1 should have worked with her before making any statements.
I can promise you 2 things I have worked with Lt.Brown and been retired from the Sheriffs Office longer than the time you have in...Now let me get on with the reasoning behind My
writing.
When Brown started in the Jail,she did her time and duties above and beyond the call,throughout her career she has never ask for a thing but always gave more of herself,when she
thought about getting a promotion ,she busted her ass to make damn sure there would be NO reason of not getting it-she educated and conducted herself to the highest regard and received
each promotion or change of duty because of "SELF".
Brown's Morals,Integrity,Education,Self Worth,Professionalism,Honor and Spirit cannot be touched.She has never put anyone in a situation of fail or taking sides and heres why.
Brown is self made,she does not need you nor anyone else-Everything she is,Everything she has accomplished,Everything she has-She did it-Trust me she owes NOBODY.In saying
that Brown also would never set anyone up to fail,she only believes in the very best,She will do whatever is in her power to bring a person to their full potential of
perfection, be it in a professional or personal matter.
It is insulting to read the hatred on this matter not because its Brown but because what you stand for,You seem to be mad that Brown went against 400,000.00 being takin'from tax payer
money-as the investigation clearly came to agree it's THEIFT-do you understand that-if not next time you hit your shift look around -they are called inmates because they were arrested
for breaking the law.You are speaking out of both sides of your mouth if you stand for a co/worker stealing,yet not joe bag of donuts -and by the way that same oath Brown took,so did

Sgt Gardner has never swayed from the Truth nor backed down from anyone or anything,She has always been and still is to this day,If it isn't right it's wrong....

To add, when Gardner retired in 2010, she volunteered her time without pay to help in the Corrections department. She has the most volunteered time in the Corrections Unit and not once has she recieved a letter of thank you

There is a small percentage of caring professionals working in corrections. With such a huge budget some additional traing and restructuring would be money well spent. To the officers that actually have enough pride in themselves to conduct themselves in a professional manner keep leading by example. For the rest of the overpaid uneducated lazy workers you had better vote for Bradshaw and the "Status Quoa" because yourbehavior has you just one arrest away from being on the other side of those bars.
